Introducing our playful exploration into NFT Fashion merged with physical tailor-made fashion
Lolia and Seun are both excited to share our NFT exploration with the world for our upcoming debut NFT Fashion collaboration. Lolia is a fashion brand owned by Lola, a professionally trained and specialist in unique African print fashion design, she’s currently based in Ikorodu in Nigeria and regularly spends time in London, England, with Seun as the tech head entrepreneur running his own startup based in London in England and Indore in India. I have been dabbling, observing, and experimenting with cryptocurrency as far back as 2017, and I shared my first experiment publicly with cryptocurrency back in April 2018 #SocialMining — how to use your smartphone (cryptocurrency) to support charitable causes financially
I published this in June 2019 — The Ethereum Blockchain saved my small business with liquidity without a traditional bank
I also published this in October 2019 — Smart Contract On The Blockchain For Local Authorities
With the growing emerging trend in the use of NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) Lola and I are teaming up as we have done with previous Lolia projects, to bring an exclusive one-of-a-kind ‘NFT FASHION’ combining both the digital metaverse and the physical material world. We are currently working on 10 NFT tailor-made fashion designs (meaning each piece will be hand-made and sewed), each piece of NFT will be accompanied by a physical piece of the designed tailored-made clothing design. Meaning the winners of the individual NFT’s will have a physical representation of the NFT also delivered to their doorstep with some extra written perks and signed notes from us. Other perks will be exclusive videos of the making/sewing of the physical representation of the NFT and much more to be announced in full.
Our NFT Fashion is a playful exploration of the emerging metaverse and what it would mean for fashion designers, and especially the emerging markets inspired by our African history and the ongoing challenges in Nigeria. There will be an auction event with the date to be announced. We will be sharing our weekly journey via email/blog/Instagram/Twitter and YouTube. I still have my super fun startup to run with Street Tag, as we are growing fast currently, I will be carving out some time to ensure we deliver this unique project.
If you are interested in receiving a once or twice a week email summary of the progress that we are making and to be the first to be in the know when the release date of the 10 NFT limited edition is going to drop in the metaverse. Be sure to click this link to subscribe with your email and we will do our best to update you weekly.
